Article Title (Author-Date Style) - Use headline style capitalization for article titles and subtitles. Subtitles are indicated by the presence of a colon (Chapter 19, 19.2.3, p. 247).

Chapter Title (Author-Date Style) - Use headline style capitalization for chapter titles and subtitles. Subtitles are indicated by the presence of a colon (Chapter 19, 19.1.3, p. 234).  

Bibliography

Article Title (Notes-Bibliography Style) - Use headline capitalization for article titles (Chapter 16, 16.1.3, p. 149).

Chapter Title (Notes-Bibliography Style) - Use headline capitalization for chapter titles(Chapter 16, 16.1.3, p. 149).

Books and Reports (Notes-Bibliography Style) - Use headline capitalization for book and report titles(Chapter 16, 16.1.3, p. 149).

First Letters and Proper Names

Journals, Magazines, Newspapers - The first letter of each significant word in journals, magazines, and newspapers should be capitalized (e.g., The Journal of James River Fauna).

Proper Names - Proper names are always capitalized irrespective of their placement.
